Roadrunner pay tribute to some of the most important bands in Roadrunner's history, including Kind Diamond, with all albums recorded for the label.
After the split of Black Metal icons Mercyful Fate in 1985, singer King Diamond, guitarist Michael Denner, and bassist Timi Hansen started a new band – and called it simply King Diamond, like their legendary vocalist. The band was bound to have success from the beginning: be it with their debut album "Fatal portrait", followed by "Abigail" (1987), "Them" (1988), "Conspiracy" (1989), or "The eye" (1990) – all of those are part of King Diamond's "The complete Roadrunner collection 1986-1990".
