Nimrod' by Green Day is being released as an extensive package to celebrate its 25th anniversary, featuring 5 silver LPs.
To commemorate the anniversary of their triple US-platinum-certified album, Green Day has announced a special box set: 'Nimrod 25 - 25th Anniversary Edition' will be released on January 27, 2023. In addition to the original album, the box set will include a disc of previously unreleased demos and a live set recorded at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia on November 14, 1997 - one month after the release of 'Nimrod'. The 20-song set includes several tracks from 'Nimrod' as well as fan favorites from their earlier albums and singles. The demo disc features 14 tracks, including two unreleased Green Day songs ('You Irritate Me', available today, and 'Tre Polka'), and a previously unreleased cover of Elvis Costello's classic 'Alison'. The 3-CD box set includes a booklet, a fabric patch, and a backstage pass.
